No summary, as I’m sure everybody’s either read it somewhere else or have watched the episode.

Definitely much more serious than before, with the characters becoming very emotional (the scene right after they find out that Fuuko’s dying had even Tomoya becoming a little watery). The episode makes use of a little humour, but mostly logs what they thought was going to be the home stretch in helping Fuuko, until it hits a little snag near the end and Sunohara reveals a very harsh complication. Given the next two episode titles, and what Sunohara said, I really don’t think we’ll be getting a happy ending for Fuuko - everybody’s forgetting her, and thus she likely won’t be able to get everyone to celebrate her sister’s wedding. At the very least, she’s allowed for the wedding to happen, but it’s still troubling. What’s more is the possibility of Tomoya and Nagisa forgetting her, making things even worse.

In terms of general commentary, Sunohara’s again been involved in the plot - and shows that even he has a heart, he seems worried about what’s happening and Fuuko. It’s different to see Tomoya so rattled by something other than his past as well. No sight of the other characters though, which is interesting, given the Sunohara-screen time. He easily gets the third-largest amount of screen time, and I predict he’s going to be involved in some way or another with almost every girl’s story alongside Tomoya (though more of a supporting character). Not that I’m complaining - he’s an awesome character both in terms of personality and gags. Also in terms of character involvement is the fact that Nagisa’s heavily involved in another girl’s story - makes me wonder whether she’ll be involved in the other stories.

Favourite Girl: Is still Kyou. So instead I’ll do the second favourite girl: Nagisa. She’s certainly shown herself to be very different and a fair bit more 3D than most of the other female characters in Key’s other stories. It’s one of the things I really like, that the characters seem much more three dimensional than in Kanon and to a lesser extent Air. She’s also got to be the least annoying main female heroine in the Key line, because Ayu and Misuzu were plain annoying at times.
